How to Draw A Zebra for Kids

Drawing could be difficult, and that includes something simple as well. The most common animal to draw… let’s see – a zebra, giraffe, gorilla, elephant, bird, tiger, and so on. I could basically make a list, but to help beginners, we start with something simple that even a kid could draw – a zebra for kids. Sounds stupid and silly but it’s not. Don’t feel embarrassed to draw such a thing. It’ll only make you become a better artist. So how do we draw a zebra? Well for one thing, you will need to follow the steps that I’ll be giving to you. I have a quick plan that will work wonders. First off, I have uploaded my own drawing tutorial here that will teach you how to draw a zebra for kids, and second, I have other drawing tutorials from around the web that you’ll also find interesting.

So of course my drawing tutorial is shown below. I have spent much time drawing this and putting it all together. I had to take a photo of my drawing on paper and retrace it with a drawing program to make it easier for me. So let’s begin step by step how to draw a zebra for kids. First, draw an oval to help you out with your drawing of a zebra. This will help you with the parts of the zebra’s body. Second, start off by drawing the neck, ear, muzzle, and mouth. This is show below of course. Third, draw out some of the body. Keep some open areas as shown to have some input for the legs. Fourth step is obviously the legs. It’s a bit tricky drawing legs. I always had a hard time drawing legs like these. They have this curve pattern and could really make it difficult. So try to spend as much time in this step. Easy part with is the fifth step, draw the neck hair and tail. Sixth, draw the lining cutting each side of the muzzle as shown in the sixth drawing step below. You also need to draw the nose, eyeball, and ear. Be sure to also draw the lining for the hooves. Last but not least, draw the stripes to make the perfect zebra.

There you have it, you have drawn a simple zebra for kids. Doesn’t matter if your old because this could still help you to draw something more difficult like an actual zebra. That’s today’s lesson. I hope you would share this with your friends and share it on websites to get the site noticed. You can help the site just by doing so.
